Negativity of the camera
My older girl find out you can set the camera to negative color and then the camera have become her best toy.
She bring it everywhere and look everything for see the negative color. She even look her anime through the screen of the cam.
From now on the battery of the cam are always dead and more recently the cam is lost as my girl don't remember where she put it and I can't find it!


Papa look!
Still the same older daughter, she can call me 20 to 50 (seriously) per day everyday with a "papa, papa, look!" And she show me something. It was a time she call me for show me every picture of every page of the book she was looking!
Today was no exception...
In the middle of the day she come to me with and with a low voice she told me "Papa, aku mau tunjuk" (papa, I want show you (something)). She take my finger and bring me to the front door. She show any excitment or stress in her voice, I ws not expecting anything special, many time she show me small flower she found on the grass.

Arrived at the door she point at the driveway and said "liat" (look).
It have this HUGE lizard at 5 meter in front of us, curiously looking at us.
The lenght, tail include, was as wide than a car, so around 1.5 meter with a large body. A wonderfull creature.

Fuck! WHERE IS THE CAMERA!

It stay only a few second before run away to the road and than to the next house who is empty.
Later he get out and end up at the bottom of a dead end road where a wall was separating him of the swamp where he was coming from.
From a good distance, I saw him trying to climb the wall. I got pity for him, but there is no way I will try to help this huge monster! (I hope he finally find his way back).

While following him at distance, impossible to keep my girl not following me. When the lizard end up in the dead end. He relax a little and walk around slowly. The girl had a chance to have a good look at it and were very happy.

I take some bad shot with the phone and we go home.
The youger one "talk" us (she is not still really talking) about the long tongue of the lizard for a 5 minute imiting the noise of a snake.

Posting the story an hour before midnight! Thanks Phil, now i can't go to sleep without thinking about the huge reptile crawling under my blanket trying to kill me

Here in kalimantan it was midnight when I write it.

I don't know why I'm not tired, today we make 250 sambosa (kind of spring roll) my muscle hurt, but can't sleep.

Tomorrow we will have 50 more to make for finish the order and we will probably add 50 more for sold while the weekend.

I should go to bed now!

I just had a long video Skype call with my wife -- Central Iowa to Jakarta Timur. It was pretty low quality video, but actually worked better than I expected.

My mom is staying over in my apartment since last night and she had scheduled a mother and daughter day out for today. We ended up laying in the couch eating cold pizza from last night. I think laziness runs in the family.

Everyone is back in the office, and there are foods everywhere. I must have gained a ton today.

oh well... although i love what am doing in the office, but seeing my boss ( female- with a hubby and 3 kids ) cuddled by her female colleague in my room ( they thought i was not in the room ) makes me feel .... get a room please. not really sure how close they are... not that i am against LGBT, but ... please dont make out in front of me in the office.

First day at school for the older one and as expected the younger one was asking for her sister all the time.

It's quite funny to see them constantly and continually fighting at home, but when separate they are searching for each other! Aaah! Sister!
