So they said that its flooding here and there, traffic is like hell here and there sigh. I am not dare to drive home now . Gonna wait a lil longer before driving home. Raining and flooding in the end of June? The rain gods must be slapped, hard

Their is a house in our housing who is empty since loooong time. They said since 7 year the owner try to sold it and can't. Our housing have good reputation, not so long ago when the coal economy was at his high it didn't have a single house for sold... except this one.
People have start to spread rumor about ghost/spirit.

Yesterday, the owner of the house come to my father in law and offer him to make an house exchange. He will sold us his house for cheap (500 000) and buy our house.
The house must be somewhere twice big than our and is on one of the biggest land of the housing which would be more than twice our land.

...... My father in law is interested, have a twice bigger house and land with money in his pocket.

He don't seem to care at all about:
- He will be like the last owner, stuck with a unsaleable house
- Why the owner want live in the same housing but not in his house?
- Why the owner want so much get rib of his house? ... For a house/land half size?
- Does all the stress of the present owner is because of the address "4" which mean death in Chinese (the owner is chinese... as same as my father in law)

My father in law don't seem to think at all...

Here it rain and flood every week.

It have a part of my road to the office that have become dangerous to drive; rain have bring mud on the road from some new house construction. And nobody seem to care of cleaning the road from the mud!
This same road is my "shortcut" (same length) for pass-by the center of the city and his traffic. 2 day ago they start to put new pavement on the main road, which create traffic and made people use my "shortcut" for avoid it, but the road is too much small, when 2 car meet the need to slow down a lot if not stop... imagine when 2 truck meet...
As a result, my shortcut have become muddy slippery with traffic.

Tomorrow is the beginning of the Ramadan.

For anyone who said to themself since the beginning of the year they should do a diet... It's the perfect time to start one!

My lovely Samarinda. I do remember the 2 first year Ramadan in Indonesia; continual cacophony 24/24 everyday. At the point they were playing music while the night, no way they will calm down 5 minute.

Last year thing change. Following the sudden price rise of the fuel, people were a little bit short on their budget. I also suspect some willing to keep peace following some fight between different community. Probably using the fuel price rise as a good excuse... the speaker shut up. They don't really make more noise then habitually. No more cat-fighting-a -like sound outside.

This year it's even more fade away. With the coming election, people have other thing to keep their mind busy than Ramadan.
The habitual "opening" of ramadan with firework was... short stock of firework.

My family in law are chinese and catholic and seriously, if I didn't know it was ramadan, I would not know!


But... Yeah! It have less traffic in morning and the working day will be more short.

New development in the story

The guy come back to my father in law for talk more about "exchanging" the house. Now it's a complete different story!
He want buy my father in law house for cheap saying he want destroy it for build a road to a none-sense-story. He even have the guts to say our house is ugly - When the house was build its picture was shown on the paper news as a refreshing new style that is copied a lot since.
In compensation, he don't sold us his house for cheap anymore but build a SMALL house on the back of his house. The land is in between two road and the land is big enough for build a small house - technically possible. But I don't know he was aware that we are 3 couple living in the house with 2 kid... but even...

He want us to sold him our house for cheap for move in a house HE will build on HIS land (for sold since 7 year) which cost will be reduce of the price of our house.

Moral of the story: When people told you a house is haunted, BELIEVE IT!!!

It may not be a real ghost, but it have something wrong somewhere.
In our case the ghost is the owner - a freaking bastard who try to reap off people... not for nothing people have all run away and don't want close any deal with this thief.

There are no mosques at all in my current neighborhood, no sahur yellings etc.....but somehow i havent slept well since last week zzzzzZzzZ . So sleepy now.

Last friday I put them in the front yard for they can take sun and let them there.
My older girl have teh good idea of take them both off the ground. I found the tomato plant both laying on their side.
I put them back on the ground, the "strong" one still have some root on it, I think it will survive.
The weak one has is main root cut very short... I really don't understand why this morning this one is still all green and show no dying sign!!!
