I'm the official marketing manager for my wife business, last weekend I pass 90 brochure house by house and talk with around 60 person: Ayo! Beli kueh enak!!! and you will have the delivery at your door by a bule genteng (me). So far so good, the new customer on this first weekend was enough for pay back the cost of publicity...

The more memorable moment are the most simple: when we brush our teeth together my older girl always run first to take the towel and hand it to us for we can dry our hand... seeing her delicately drying the mouth of her sister... priceless!La motivation vient en se motivant ~ Motivation come by self-motivation

It is always lovely to read your short updates about your family, especially the kids! I imagine it as a happy family, sweet! I'm actually trying to avoid forums right now, or, browsing on trivial matters. I got to write a proposal (as a result of a change of mind haha) and I have to get it done before tomorrow morning. But then when I read your post, I came back here! Hahaha. Btw, I have been trying to edit the post to divide it into paragraphs but, again, won't work.

1. The traffic was so bad everywhere, i wonder if it has anything to do with president and vice president declaration thingy today.
2. Is this site getting laggier or is it just me? So difficult to load
3. Me and my little monster met a super cute brown poodle in the neighborhood today, so calm and quiet while my monster acted like crazy. I guess he was jealous because i said i wanted to trade him in with that poodle Hahaha. Maybe he understood what i was saying hmmmLost in Jakarta's trafic jam

I just came back from buying lunch at my favorite warung nasi bebek. As usual I always bungkus and have it in my office with air con, much better to enjoy than in the typical hot warung. The owner’s name is Cak Mul, and we always had a nice chat if I go there. He is a nice and friendly man on his 30ish and his bebek is really delicious, the best in town dare I say !. There was even a time I talked to him about opening my own warung bebek with him as a cook. Although it never happened, we keep a good communication.
He wasn't there today, so I wondered. His employee came to me and said : “I’m sorry tante, (OK, no one here follows him calling me tante, or I willI forgive him since it looks like he is just 17 or something), but have you heard about Cak Mul ?”. I said : “I just wanted to ask you, where is he ?”. “He died last year, on December 4th, because of liver disease.”.
What a sad news. So its been 5 months from the last time I went there, and he was gone now. And the worse thing I found out, the bebek is not as good as it was.Words can inspire, thoughts can provoke, but only action can get you closer to your dreams.

Li Mo, if you want good cake & food in Jakarta, contact Maria (forum member) you won't regret it! **but by now she should have her baby... I don't know how is her food business now**
In Samarinda ALL restaurant serve the SAME food, with the SAME taste. It's like if they all share the same recipe book. My wife have grow up in Jakarta which have her range of food experience more wide than most of people in Samarinda.
She also pass 6 month in Montreal which allow her to have more contact with western food (Montreal is more linked with Europe on matter of food taste).
She use my father recipe for on of her meal... good enough for it become very popular in a very short time. It's less then 2 month my wife start it and we already have people trying to copy our meal. This weekend we even have a restaurant owner who work hard for try to have a hand on one of our meal (friend said she want copy the recipe).
Until now it growing up, which explain my involvement... which explain the marketing change we are in now
We are now in preparation for Ramadan.
