It means you haven't explored all areas in Banyuwangi.

I have been around most of the regency on 3 trips looking for appealing areas ,from watudodol to paluh merah and also into the hills ie licin etc , I gave up on the area a bit of a " hardship posting" .

Ubud was rather mild and certainly less humid than the coastal cities of Bali, when we visited a couple of months ago.

ps Seemed like there were more bules roaming the streets than Indonesians, if that makes any difference.

I stayed at my friend's house in Sempu, Banyuwangi and the climate was cold especially at night.

Hello everybody!! I would say that Indonesia only has snows at the top of Jayawijaya mountain in Papua. Indonesia has a lot of cool cities. Here are some of the best places to visit in Indonesia, in no particular order. Like Bukittinggi: This is a charming little inland town located in West Sumatra. Yogyakarta: It's a popularly referred to as Jogja, is one of the most charming towns in Indonesia where tourists go to soak in local culture, And the last one is i would say Malang, the East Javan city of Malang offers unmissable things you may not expect from such a low-key destination. From exotic beaches to amusement parks, discover the top things to see and do in Malang. These places are very attractive, breathable and photographic. These places give a very iconic attraction for a tourists.

!0 years ago I would agree with you ,a quiet place with elegant art deco architecture , now with the massive growth in population , traffic, pollution , rise in radicalism , not a nice place at all imho.
