hi everyone, it looks like visa processing will start again soon. I was thinking of using ALP consulting (indonesiaimmigration.com, Raya Mohammad) to handle my Kitas lansia application. Does anyone have experience with this agent? He was the only one who confirmed of being able to handle Kitas Lansia in Manado. But full payment is requested in advance, which makes me a little suspicious. Thank you for any comments and advice

(1) No , I have Retirement e-ITAS with a different agent .
(2) I guess it is normal that local agents have cooperation agreements with the authorized agents (mostly based in Jakarta & Bali) or vice-versa , like my agent from Jakarta who has an agreement with an agent in Bandung (where I live) who does everything required by Bandung's Immigration .
(3) In 2015 my agent from Jakarta (MPP Travel , who I never met up to now) asked only around 20% advanced payment . If you want I can contact him to know if he can do in Manado too .

thank you for your reply, Marcus. I would appreciate that, yes, or just give me his contact.
I know this list, but most of the ones I contacted, don't handle Manado, unfortunately. They suggest to fake-register domicile in Jakarta. But I am afraid to do so as there might be controls.

(b) .. but most of the ones I contacted, don't handle Manado, unfortunately. They suggest to fake-register domicile in Jakarta. But I am afraid to do so as there might be controls.
(a) I am being sponsored (since 2015) by MPP-Travel (https://mpp-travel.com/contact-us/) , and specificaly the MPP's employee who took my case was Pak Irul , WA +62.816.1405.767 (5 years ago MPP was the cheapest I found , now I am not aware of who offers the best price) . . He (Pak Irul , who has been the person I contact for my many MPP Travel sponsored Retirement KITAS) told me that he can make Retirement KITAS for Manado . He told me that he charges Rp11 million (50% advanced payment) for the first Retirement KITAS and Rp10 million for the 2nd up to 5th Retirement KITAS .
But I suggest you to contact MPP Travel first (to confirm the prices/advanced money - because I got a better deal there in 2015) . You can send a Whatsapp message to "Vita Kantor" (which I guess is MPP Travel) : +62.878.7827.2111 . You probably get a better deal if you ask in Indonesian language (use Google Translate). Tell them from which country you are and in which Indonesian city you want to live (as this seems what they want to know first) .
(b) You can get a Retirement e-ITAS in Jakarta (you will need to be there for photo/fingerprint) , but later you will have to transfer your file from Jakarta to Manado (people who did that told us that is a big bureaucracy - you will need to get a Manado residency statement first then return to Jakarta to request the file transfer) . In addition you will have to get Manado's identification card .
If your Jakarta's sponsor cannot get the e-ITAS in Manado , you will have to get another sponsor and start from zero again (go abroad for a Visa , then get new e-ITAS) . If you get now a sponsor who can do e-ITAS in Manado , next year you just extend the e-ITAS (no need to go abroad for that) .
UU no.6 , year 2011
Article 71
Each foreigner residing in the Territory of Indonesia shall:
a. provide all necessary information regarding the identity and / or their families, and report any changes in civil status, nationality, occupation, sponsor, or a change of address to the local Immigration Office; or
b...
Article 116
Each Foreigner who do not perform his/her obligations as stipulated in Article 71 shall be punished with a maximum confinement of 3 (three) months or a fine of up to 25,000,000, 00 (twenty five million rupiah).Last edited by marcus; 09-02-21, 09:54.

I have nothing to complain about my agent (MPP Travel , see it in the list above) . They got me the Retirement Visa in 2015 and since then they got me 6 Retirement e-ITAS (former KITAS) .
I guess you get a better deal if you contact agents in Indonesian language (through email for example , use Google Translate). Tell them from which country you are and in which Indonesian city you want to live (most of the agents are from Jakarta or Bali , but many of them have associates in other Indonesian cities) .
If you have spouse/children , be informed that only you must get a Retirement Visa , the others can get cheaper "Dependent" Visas .Last edited by marcus; 07-02-21, 22:54.
