  • Contact of a trustworthy Visa agent in Jakarta

    Hi There,

Looking to get a contact for a Visa agent in Jakarta to check if my family our on the Immergartion Blacklist?

I would like a contact for someone who has used the service of agent and found them to br trustworthy.

We overstayed our visa for 62 days in 2015, we want to return with children, but not sure we would get the entry. Our documents we got from Immigration are just for our children and translate as not to put them on the blacklist, but nothing for us adults. My local consulate services say we are not on the blacklist, but my worry is the children will not be and we will be which will mean we will not get the entry. Our local consulate say we can apply for Social Visa fine.

I have red stamp in passport, but children have black s

    (1) I cannot recommend any agent , but you can find a list with some of them in the link below .

    (2) How the Consulate knows ? Did someone from the Consulate checked at Jakarta's Immigration Directorate ?

    (3) In the past some people in the blacklist have gotten their Indonesian Visas and when arrived in Indonesia they were denied entry .

Sorry for the delay. Thank you Marcus. I have contacted a few, but so far they have quoted $800-1000. I am in conversation with a member of his group, who said he will try and help me, so I hope with his good will, we can sort this, as i do not have that sort of money and to be honest don't feel I could trust sending any large amount to a company I do not know.

One company basically said you should have paid the bribe (there was no bribe) and now the Director General will ask for more money...this may be the case, but I have faith. The immigration who departed us was nothing short of professional and over helpful, maybe because we were a family with 2 small children, but never once asked for any money or indicated we should offer anything (which we didn't have).

I have since contacted the same agents since leaving and again they were helpful and told me I would need to contact a visa agent to get my name removed from the blacklist.

So I've hot another brick wall. I can't thank KenGmail enough for his help in taking a letter to immigration for me, but I need a sponsor to do this for me and have approached 10 visa agents, who outright have quoted between 12-60 million. I just don't have that money. If I did I would never pay that. I have written back to the embassy for help, but I feel myself and my children will never return.

Can anyone suggest a good agent, please? Or any other way to get my name removed.

@marcus we stayed in Indonesia for 9 months and during that time, we were healthy and happy, we would like to return to that place of happiness and health. There is no hidden reason, other than to want to visit and feel our best.

hello LandleyM your consulat is true if you can obtain social visa its mean that you are already out from the list of prevent, BTW it is not black list... the black list will bear to you only if connected to criminal affairs . The overstay is only cause the prevent action for about 6 months while for blacklist they will block you for 5 years

Hi salamakawastu Thank you for your response. My overstay was just for 62 days, the immigration officer who processed my deportation has confirmed my name is on the blacklist, he said it was temporary for 6 months. As per some of the posts in here, just because you get a social visa, does not mean you are off the blacklist?? Right marcus....I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place, I want to make a cultural trip back to Bali with my Children in December, but so far agents keep telling me it will take 2 months and cost $2000 upwards, which is money we don't have and I know it is a simple process. I live in hope, that I will get a fair agent soon to help us.

                  (a) It seems the Embassies don't check the blacklist before issuing a visa .

                  (b) I am very confused with your situation . It seems that USD2'000 is a big value to you , but even so you want to make a leisure trip to Indonesia with all your big family . It doesn't make sense to me .

marcus what doesn't make sense to you? $2000 is a lot of money right? Too much for this service, most people would agree. I would like to make a trip back to Indonesia at some point at do not want to pay $2000 in fees to an agent.

Sorry for your predicament , do you have any Indonesian family or friends who could directly help you , ie visiting immigration ?
I have to say, overstaying a few days is no problem but 62 days is regarded as an insult to the rules here unless you had a good reason , sick in hospital etc hence the blacklist , I presume you had to pay the original daily fine for te overstay ?

Yes , USD2'000 for that service is too much , but I was not referring to that , but from what you said before : "... visa agents ... quoted between 12-60 million. I just don't have that money ... cost $2000 upwards, which is money we don't have ... " . So if you don't have this much money , why spend maybe even more than that in a leisure trip to Indonesia ?
